If something is sent to a clip board, Where do I find the clip board ?

Don't worry about where the clipboard is located.  It is used for short-term storage of items in your computer's memory (must be either your main memory or the disk drive), such as when you cut and paste.  If you cut (on dropdown menu, under edit) or copy some text, it is stored in the clipboard until you paste it somewhere else.  If you turn off the computer, what is stored in the clipboard is not saved.
