Eating right revitalises memory and focus.

Women tend to be more sensitive during periods.

Drugs and alcohol drastically change one's behaviour.

Put differently:

How could one's brain not be the true system by absolutely which a human operates when there is not a single human action/inaction independent from it?

  1. If I understand your question, the human brain is a physical material guided by the learning process since birth and the developing personality is also developed from the environment.

The soul is technically the life source keeping you alive in the mortal body.

Free will is the choice you make, either independently or by peer pressure.

Your conscious thoughts and activities are your individual personality traits where you decide what to imbibe or eat, to be health conscious or abusive.

While the body operates through the subconscious mind without thought, the brain cannot work independent without the cooperative effort of the soul.

For the brain does not provide the "spark of electrical current" that keeps the heart in its rhythmic sequence but acts as the fuse.

The brain can be damaged consciously but the body can continue to live through the subconscious state.

So the brain is not the true system as you indicate.

  2. its the persons choice to get drunk and woman are just weird

    {sorry ladies}

  3. They aren't.  Which answers your question in the simplest way possible.  Free will is a useful model of the way things work, but the concept of soul is strictly fiction: every aspect of a human persona (and of animals as well) arises from the electrochemical activity of the molecules of the body, and all of this ceases on death.

  4. The brain is the graphical user interface the soul uses to operate the bodies God has created for us.

  5. If you accept the existence of a soul it would be non physical and expressing itself through the medium of the body.  The nature of the body would therefor affect the nature of the expression just a melody would sound different if played on an instrument that was out of tune.  Free will would also be affected, and for the same reason.  The fact that various factors can affect the ability to reason is the basis for the insanity defense in law, but that defense doesn't imply that under normal circumstances, a person is not responsible for their actions since, in those normal circumstances, the individual does make choices about what they do or don't do, which is the essence of Free Will.  The question of whether or not the soul does actually exist is, like the existence of God, purely a matter of faith.

  6. lulzcopter300 is correct. "Soul" in the bible means any living body.

We even still use it this way. "Poor soul" you may say of someone, not meaning any spiritual mumbo-jumbo. Modern soul dogma is, well, just that - dogma. Unsupported.

  7. the bible doesnt say that the soul is what has the mind anf feelings . in fact, in the Bible a soul is a living person, and not a being inside them . Soul (naphesh) means breathing creature , the  "spirit" is what keeps you alive but even that isnt your mind or heart, tis just your life (it means breath) . i hope this clears up some things
