If spirits are real, why don't they contact me?

Question

I even asked for my grandfather's to contact me through dreams. I'm too scared for them to do it any other way. I've heard of so many stories where people's dead relatives have contacted them. Why don't mine?

they say that the more spiritual you are the more you become connected the The Other Side. Don't be scared, they show themselves to whom they choose. also relatives are most likely to contact those who they were most close to. try someone that's closer

If contact from them would not be good for you, they will not do it.  Your loved ones who have passed on would never do anything to hurt you in any way.  I am sure they are with you and maybe even guide you in little ways. Your job as a living person is to go on with your life.  You will see them again someday and they know it. And if you are ever ready to hear from them, they will let you know.  Until then, live your life.  Be happy.  Do things.  Go places.  Try to change the world. Just  do what they can not any more.  Live. That is the best thing you can do for them.

You said it yourself - fear. Spirit do not wish to upset as well as fearful enegy being a barrier to contact.

They are all about you, so feel at peace with that aspect. If you let your expectations go you may well be able to see signs.

My grandma questions this (she lost her husband), they were both very spiritual and they promised that if one were to die, that they'd contact them one way or another.

My grandma has been very upset because he has yet to contact her. Though she has dreams of her being told that he is at a certain level in the spiritual world, she has not had any contact. I have told her my theory that he wont because he knows if he did she wouldn't be able to let him go again--that it be like losing him all over again. Perhaps she just wasn't ready or the right person. Sometimes things work out that way...
