  1. Money isn't everything. Plus, it's not like they only make $20,000 a year. They do make more than that, plus benefits. The argument is that they don't make enough for what they do. Also, some teachers really are in it for the love of children or the love of education.

I went to college to be a Vet Tech. It's not a high paying job and I couldn't pay all of our bills with that job alone....but I adore animals and my husband wanted me to do something that I love.

  2. I'm a student in Elementary, but I think its either because it's hard to get a new job or they love to teach.

  3. 2 reasons : 1) coz they like teaching n dont care too much bout the salary, 2) force to coz when they got any teaching cert, they have no whr else to go but teaching in schools!

  4. hi!

if you are not feeling satisfied with your income than -

    1.just leave your job .

2.consult the web site jobmaster.com for best jobs and do you know!

that you may get  3 times higher income in that teaching job.

3.if you are  interested in teaching but you are getting low income than just take interest in teaching.!!

i do hope that all the student taught by you will become a good source of your popularity!

  5. I love teaching becuase it truly is rewarding and it is something that holds my interest for the entire day. There are plenty of ways for teachers to boost their salaries and many teachers do take that opportunity. Most often, teachers will go to graduate school to pursue masters, specialists, and doctoral degrees. All of these will boost a teacher's salary significantly. The salary is not that bad and the more experience and credentials you have, the more you will make. The benefits are great and the experience is simply the most rewarding. Besides, its one of those jobs that allows you to have paid vacations and somewhat of a long summer. Trust me, teachers don't end up missing a meal or two per day because of the salary.

  6. life isn't all about making money.  you should do what you LIKE to do, regardless of how much money it makes.  most teachers teach because that's what they want to do and like to do.  they like helping kids learn.

  7. Everyone knows that teachers must love their career to be successful and happy. You need to have the passion for teaching and patience to deal with children or young adults. It is not easy but I will tell you one of the great, yet simple satisfactions of a teacher... you are walking in the mall with your family and a couple of teens say hey miss how are you? and they say that you were their teacher lets say last year...and then when you give them the back they say... hey she was a great teacher...or she was very good to me...or she helped me so much... Its also a great satisfaction to walk around and have students recognize you...it means that you made the difference.

There are so many things that it would be too much to tell you right now.  But its not the problems of salary but the difficulty of day by day problems that arise when dealing with teens because its not easy to win a place in their hearts and help them realize the importance of learning. So, again you have to love this to be part of it.

In my case, I love being a teacher for several reasons, since I was a little girl my play games were teaching all of my dolls the most silliest things, teaching is part of my veins because a lot of family members were former teachers, and because I love to teach what I know, I love to stand in front of people and chat with them and mostly because I love to make the difference, to leave something in the earth for people to remember me in a positive way.

  8. I make little more than $20,000 per year.   Why do I teach?  Because I love the children and delight in helping them to learn new concepts.  I teach in a Christian school and consider it my ministry for the Lord.  The blessings that God gives are far richer than anything that could be paid monetarily.

  9. I don't teach for the money, but I do make enough to support my family. I teach because it's what I've wanted to do since I can remember. It really is a calling.

I teach because I love the challenge of introducing new  concepts to students. I love the challenge of taking those non-readers and non-writers and helping them develop into readers and writers. I love to see the looks on my students' faces when they've learned something new. I teach because want to instill the love of learning in my students.

The students I work with need someone who cares and takes the time to bond with them, teach them, and guide them. I teach because I care.

  10. because they don't do it for the money they do it because that's what they want to do or because they care about the future of those kids ^_^

  11. We teach because it is our calling.  I used to work in business and made quite a bit more money, but knew I wanted to do something else.  Teaching is rewarding to me.  It allows me time with my own children and it gives me great personal satisfaction.
