If team GB had a football team in the Olympics, how many non English players would their be in it?

Question

No offence to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland but would any of their players even make the squad?

All I could think of is maybe a fit Craig Bellamy, maybe Barry Ferguson, Ryan Giggs 5 years ago.

I'm not English by the way so not biased.

3. If there is a UK football team it should have equal amounts from each nation. We are all one Fourth of the UK so we all should get one fourth of the representation.

Craig Gordon is  a cert for goalie. Ferguson sucks. McManus is Guarenteed a place at centre back.

They do have  football teams.  It's called Soccer.  As for what the americans call football teams, none.

Because the english kick *** don't they :P we didn't even qualify for Euro, and as it is we keep getting annoyed at the managers, and not the players.

Maybe a few, but England's team is better than the Scottish and the Welsh so most will prob be English so Britain has the best chance of winning.

Why do the British Isles' national teams represent just their island rather than their country?  (ie - There is a team for England, Scotland, etc., but no UK team)

the thing you've got to remember is, in the olympic football events you can only have 3 players who are over 23 in your team, so these are some of my tips who should get in because of their age, aaron ramsey (who will be 22 when the olympics start in 2012) theo walcott (23) and gareth bale (23)

I can't think of any at the moment, but the next games are 4 years away, so hopefully good players from Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland will have emerged by then and will be good enough to be picked.
