  1. AHHH h**l NOO!

    THEM GOLFBALLS HURT.

    IM SCARED OF TENNISBALLS

AND YOUR THINKING OF USING GOLFBALLS.

    OUCHHH!

  2. Hate to burst everyone's bubbles, but it can't really happen.  Golf balls have no "fuzz" and no grip, which means no top spin or slices; assuming you don't change the height of the net, even professional tennis players would have a lot of trouble keeping the balls in.  Plus, there's barely any bounce on tennis surfaces.  If it WERE to happen, the whole game of tennis would be in the services, ASSUMING they make strings that could withstand golf balls (I use half-kevlar and I STILL break strings pretty frequently).  Even then, it'd be too dangerous to be considered a legal sport; the fastest serve to ever be recorded was hit by Andy Rodick, 155 mph (249.4 km/h), and that was a TENNIS ball...even assuming that the ball travels at the same speed, which I doubt, a golf ball would at the LEAST turn someone's face into a bloody pulp.  Can you picture someone teeing off straight into a person's face?  Well, Tiger Woods tee's off with a ball speed of 180 mph, only 25 mph faster than Roddick's serve.  Not a pretty picture if that hits someone.

Excitement?  It'd definitely get one's adrenaline pumping though, I admit; imagine playing at the net!

  3. I think that it would be fricken cool because it would make a funny sound whenever the golf ball hit the racket. But I like tennis just the way it is! =]=]

  4. Yes but tennis balls on fire would be even better.

  5. That would make it tolf or gonis, hmmm can't see it catching on really.

If tennis were played with goals and rugby ball...now THAT would be more exciting. Call it tugball (combination of tennis, rugby and football) and I'm sure it would fire the imagination of youngsters all over the world. Or not, as the case may be.

  6. Uuuh, I'd probably KILL myself, but it'd be fun. They wouldn't bounce though, enough, that is, haha.

  7. h**l yeah :)
