First of all, even if the planes that hit the WTC were on remote control, what about the thousands of people in the towers that died, were they on remote control too????

That day was a nightmare-there are too many families that had members on those planes, and in those buildings, to negate the fact that it happened.

I don't care if the government knew beforehand.  I don't care that the government lied.  I want to know that someone (the responsible parties) will be tried and convicted, then punished.  There were more than Americans in the WTC, let us not forget the other nations that lost citizens also.

These fools want us to believe that governments that couldn't competently cover up a burglar of a Democratic Party office in 1972, can run all sorts of massive secret empires. If we could answer that question, we would have the mystery solved. As it is, all we can offer are theories, which are certainly as good as any offered by the government.

Why is it never mentioned by any of the true believers that there were no arab names on any of the passenger lists?

The government also has not bothered to deal with this little problem. Of course it doesn't bother the kool aid crowd that 9 of the alledged hijackers are still alive.

It's constantly alledged that Osama Bin Laden confessed to the deed. Then why does the government admit that they have no evidence against him? ( except heresay?) Yet on this basis we invaded and destroyed two nations to get two men.

There are so many questions unanswered that there should be uninamity of opinion calling for an independent investigation.

If you people who believe the government's tale are so sure you've been told the truth, then you should have nothing to fear.

The one where the planes were flown by remote control, the one where there were no planes, the one where the government knew about it and didn't step in to stop it so they could use the event to cement Bush's regime, the one where nineteen Arabs with box cutters defeated four separate aircraft and crashed them screaming Allah Akbar, the one where Saddam Hussein was behind the whole thing, the one where Osama Bin Laden was behind the whole thing????????

There are lots of theories, some official and some unofficial.

We may never know what happened that day. All we know was that a bunch of people died, that the military scrambled jets from 400 miles away when there was an airfield right across the river, and that within 24 hours, because of the existence of a magical passport that somehow survived the explosion of a jet passenger plane, we traced it to a band of people called Al Quaida.

Personally I tend to think that a hi-jacking did take place, but I'm pretty sure the planes that hit the WTC were on remote control when they did it. The trajectory of the plane that hit tower two was inhumanly accurate and would have caused so much G force that the pilot would had to have blacked out before he finished the maneuver.

Beyond this, I don't really know. I only know I have learned never to believe a word that comes out of the collective mouths of the US government. And that's sad, because I want to be a patriotic citizen, but can't find it in my heart any more.

Hello? Where have you been since before 9/11?  On that date, it was constantly reported that three jet airliners were involved.  And all the people died.  I don't know of any military aircraft that is classified as an airliner (plane).  The conspiracy was on the part of the terrorists, not the passengers.

There is no such thing as "the" 9-11 conspiracy theory.  Your question implies that the entire truth movement is in agreement about the planes.  That is not so.  A substantial percentage of the truth movement believes that the government was not actively involved in the attacks, but merely intentionally failed to intercept the planes.  On that basis, you already have the answer to your question.

I do not believe the government is being truthful about 9-11.  The evidence for government foreknowledge and complicity is compelling and clear.  Some of the government's theories are too far fetched to accept.  Alternative explanations arise when it is clear the government is not truthful and the explanations are not believable.  For me, alternate explanations for some of the 9-11 events are more logical than the government's explanation, yet others are not.

It is not necessary to speculate on the fate of the passengers, or any other alternative theory, to take the view that the government is lying.  That view stands on its own, there is substantial evidence to support it, and it is enough to warrant a full and independent investigation.  The 9-11 Commission was a whitewash. Anyone who has researched it can plainly see that.

Where is the "irrefutable proof" promised by Secretary Rice seven years ago to prove that OBL was behind the attacks?  We are still waiting for that.  Hopefully it comes in soon so the FBI can finally upgrade their reasons for wanting OBL to include the 9-11 attacks. As it stands, he is not wanted by the FBI for 9-11.  

Receipt of that "irrefutable evidence" would go a long way to restoring some credibility to the Administration.

We all love to believe in conspiracies. I read that during the Cuban missile crisis, the usa wanted an excuse to go to war with Fidel Castro, so they sank one of their own naval vessels, with the loss of American life reaching to over 200 men, so they could blame it on Castro. No one will know the truth to that one. Would the American government sink SO low to reach a political aim? Probably. Small amounts of human life mean nothing to such a huge developed country. Anything is possible.

I'm a little rusty but word has it there were never any passengers.  The planes that hit the towers passenger list were made up.  The plane that crashed in the field was empty.  Those passengers were on a different plane.  And there was never any jet that crashed into the pentagon.  That was a missile fired from a helicopter.  That is just my believes though. How ironic though that the economy is the way it is with gas prices.  Maybe it was all for oil and never a terrorist attack either.

I havent heard this one before. The conspiracy I heard was that the government knew it was about to happen and did nothing to stop it so it had good reason to go to war.

Thing is everytime something nasty happens people look for answers and as we never really find out the complete truth for security reasons, our imaginations over react. Now for all I know some of the theories may be correct but until proven otherwise we should stand for our countries which have given us a free way of life.

I can't believe people are actually saying its a conspiracy. Its not, one thing I've learned. You can never trust the media, it feeds the world c**p. It seems as if today, everything causes cancer and we are beyond paranoid and germaphobes. Commercials too. Gotta make sure everything in the house is super clean, you may get some kind of germ on you. Its ridiculous. The T.V. feeds us this stuff and scares us more than half the time. If you believe what the media tells you all the time, you don't have your own opinion.  9/11 did happen and it was real. Who I feel sorry for the most are those that lost family and friends.
