If they like doesn't mean that they have to move to Europe. Anyhow maby they should return to monarchy. Some things really changed since then. :)

I think that most Americans are fascinated with aristocrats in general, royal or not.  However, I don't think the average American loves European royalty.  Aside from the royal family in Britain I doubt most Americans would recognize the name of any sovereign in Europe.  Now I think our news media absolutely loves the British royal family.

They do, that is why they like the idea of kings and queens. Although in England's defense, when Elizabeth goes to the great palace in the sky, she will invariably leave another Queen in her place, her son.

Last aristocrat I loved was Marie Antoinette! The rest of them can go the same way as far as I'm concerned!

Sure, we love the idea of the monarchy. Its old fashioned and charming and romantic and every girl would like to be with a Prince!

But I'm quite happy here in the US just reading about your cute little figureheads, thanks. I wouldn't want to actually LIVE there.
