    he's going to be one of the best first basemen in the NL couple of years from now

    i hope he does if they do get to the WS but.. let's not get ahead of ourselves.. you never know!

  3. Yes.  Anyone traded before the deadline becomes a permanent roster member.  Even players brought up from the farm systems prior to September 1st are considered permanent roster member and will get a ring if their team wins the pennant and/or world series.  

    Keep in mind however that these players might not get full shares of pennant or world series money.  That is usually voted on by the other team members.

  5. I believe its up to the team, good question though!  I didnt like the trade. I been a Angels fan for years. Kotchman is going to be an all star for years.

  7. Yes, this is common. Players who were traded during the season when a team eventually wins a WS get a ring.

  12. I believe the ruling is if he was on the roster for more than half of the season he gets a ring, but I don't think he deserves it. I dont care if he played every single game and got taken off of waivers last minute to a different team, if he doesnt play in the playoffs, NO RING!
