If the Cubs don't make the World Series, should they just give up forever?

They are the only good team in National League.(Please spare me the talk about how the Brewers and the D-Bags have the pitching) If they don't make it this year, how many Cubs fans will give up on them?

The cardinals won the world series in 06 with only 82 wins.  Teams play differently in the post season.  The cubs managed to rack up most of their wins by not making careless mistakes against teams like the pirates, i think youll find that these cubs' inexperience in the postseason could really hurt them.

Not me, i've had my heart broke by this team before. I'm not one of the Cubs fans that are trendy, i've been doing this for a long time. I'm 38 & have been a fan as long as i've known what a baseball was. My 1st heart break in sports came in 1984 (grrrrrrr Steve Garvey). IF they don't do it this year, i will tell you to wait til next year.......
