Babs, that's the type of nastiness that perpetuates the image.

  1. Tracey and Baba Yaga, in fine form.

Sorry, radical feminists did create the image that surrounds them.  Sure some men play on it and use it as a way of describing all feminists, but hey, you hold onto unreasonable assertions about us too.

As the Mrs says, some are trying to change it, and the feminists I know want to remove themselves from the bitter, militant Germaine Greer/Andrea Dworkin style of feminism because they see it a pointless, hypocritical, self abasing, alienating and matriarchial system that seeks to emasculate men.

  2. Well I think many are trying to change it.  There are a few here that are trying as well, but it is simply too easy to answer out of hate when all you have is a screen in front of you.

  3. First, let's get one thing straight. The n***s were not feminists, socialists, or communists. In fact, they were fascists who were the polar opposites. They disdained feminism. They wanted women back into the homes to produce more fodder for Hitler's war machine. The term "feminazi" was coined by a college flunk out who clearly doesn't know his history.

  4. We didn't create it.  You did.

  5. "Created for themselves?" Give me a break. That image was created amid scores of protests FROM feminists. As much as feminists have tried to get people to see them for who they really are, some of those people are content to keep their blinders on.

  6. I agree with the two before me; we are trying but personal hate for some people and the way they talk over-power us and take over; also we didn't create this image you did and those that think like you.  I will continue to try though its just like litter on the street; I didn't throw it there but I pick it up and put it where it should be... Of course I usually curse out the people who litter so disgusting.

  7. Did you not see Rio's point that there are people who lived through the real n**i's and survived concentration camps?  Those people and their relatives are insulted by your use of the word n**i, as if it was nothing more than a political agenda.  When feminists have killed 6 million innocents you can start to compare them to n***s.  Until then, have a little respect for those who were really victimized, and don't compare your little problems to the extermination of a race of people.

  8. Sorry Ryde on but Baba is right. Women spoke up, men didn't like it so they tried to give those women an ugly characterization. Actually, similar to what Hitler did to the Jews. Irony?

  9. Notice how the feminists deny deny deny? These ladies doth protest too much. They created their bad image all on their own.

  10. Some of them here seem to think you alone created this image of them (not sur about that) or you as in all men, or all those that use the term or all those that agree with many of the comaprisons but may or may not use the term created the image they have now.

intreresting you guys seem to think we went out, got highly biased stats went about claiming near all  men are rapists and then blamed you? Or are you saying that we made you do it? Or the patriarchy did? <shrugs>

And many other things beside that.

.... When the movement you claim afflition to has done those things, and as such earns its name amoung those that do not follow it - and the name it earns is something like that - how do you think saying others created that image works out? What are you trying to achieve? Validation for giving/recieveing  the name? They simply gave it a name that they felt fitted. Not the image that was named.

Other than that it seems some what poetic.

You had a choice in taking up that name.

The men that have recived the results of the like of those stats didnt.

La Belle - havent read any history - those people took a long time before they did that. They did a number of things that seem compareable. Why must we wait until then before we look? Is there a reason why the results they achieved before mass murder not worthy of note, and therefore comparison against other things that may exhibit some simlarities?

Also worthy of note is many people in that society werent aware fully of what was being done, or chose to ignore - could that be a fair comparison for the many others that dont engage in the same practices as others in the same movement?

  11. Because I don't give a flying rat's a$s what you think of me. Your prejudice is not my problem.

  12. Good point. One of the reasons they earned the name feminazis is because of their intolerance. They don't go in for reasoned debate - they just reject your point of view out of hand. In the same way they reject any suggestion that they are intolerant - ironic eh? Its like someone screaming in your face 'I am NOT and angry person'.

  13. They're never going to live that long.
