If the III Metacarpal finger bone was broken .........?

what would the symptoms be? my hand ( where my third metacarpal bone, would be located )is swollen, looks bruised (as in black and blue) i can move my finger but not in a fist or straight.i can not put pressure on it with out pain....this happend yesterday

Those are some of the symptoms.  The only way to know is to have it X-rayed.
