If the IRS says my check?

will arrive on 6/27/08 should i expect it then or expect it later???

Expect it after.  If they put 6/27 in the letter that is the mail by date.   Mine said 6/6 and I received it on 6/7.

They will mail it out on the 27th, and you should get it in a few days after that.

They can't tell you when it will arrive, only when it will be mailed.

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 6/27, you may not get it until early in the week of 6/30.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

expect it on 6/30...my check was mailed 6/13..i recieved it 6/16...my sisters was sent out 6/20..she recieved it 6/23
