That is strange since 800 PF comes to just 4% of basic. I do not think you have given the full breakupo of your salary. If 800 is the PF deduction, then at 12% of basic, the basic should be 6666 a month.

I suggest that you download the tax calculator from http://prrajan-tax.blogspot.com/2008/03/... and use it to get your TDS numbers.
