then why do you still so passionately believe it? What makes you repeatedly regurgitate the same tired posts about 'neglect' etc when the PJ have never brought ANY charges to the McCanns? Do you have access to better information than the police?

Anyway I thought all you antis had so much faith in the PJ?

Their regurgitated views don't matter - they're entitled to them, but they really don't matter at all.

At least now the McCanns can concentrate on trying to find Madeleine and follow up leads that should have been followed through in the beginning.  That's all that matters now - finding out what happened to Madeleine and if her parents don't do this, then nobody else will - and that is a fact.

They can't admit that they were wrong about the McCanns all along,they said they felt it by instinct,hope they never rely on them again.

Can someone please give me a link to where the PJ said the McCanns were innocent?

It was the prosecution service that decided there was NOT ENOUGH evidence to carry on with the investigation but that the case can and will be re-opened if stronger evidence comes to light.   That is the only reason the Arguido status has been dropped. 'Not enough evidence to prosecute' does not mean innocent.

As for the neglect issue, I believe it is still possible they could be charged with neglect and I think the only reason they haven't been so far is because of all the spin and political support they have.  Not to mention the experts they have in extradition law plus the fact that the McCanns have refused to return to Portugal.  Why would someone hire an extradition lawyer before they were even charged with something?

different strokes for different folks, a single mother leaving her child at home in this country so she can pop to Morrison's can be charged with neglect. just because the PJ doesn't view it as neglect does not change the fact that 3 children were home alone, resulting in one little girl going missing. This may of never happened if the parents chose parenthood over eating out.
