If the PJ were that incompetent, how come the Mc Canns own Private Investigators haven`t found any leads ?

Judging by what is coming out in the new book its quite scary just how hampered they were in the investigation.

Just why any parent of a missing child wouldn't cooperate fully with the police investigation beggars belief.

There is certainly alot more to this case than the McCann publicity team would have you believe :)

The Portugese Police had to deal with uncooperative parents. The only people hampering the investigation were the McCanns themselves.

What possible reason did they have for this? I can think of one .....

Most important part of any investigation is the crucial first hours.Mess that up,which the Portuguese most certainly did and the chances of you finding anything are greatly reduced.That's why the McCanns wanting the new system introduced is so important.

Because he was hired by the McCanns. He could only work on the information they provided.

Difficult to find leads when there are none. At least the McCanns investigators have followed up every sighting which is a lot more than the PJ have done.

Both Kate and Gerry were interviewed by the police for several hours shortly after Maddie was taken. The stayed in Portugal until September, plenty of time for the police to interview them again and even when the police travelled to Britain they did not even bother to contact them. Now just who's fault is that ????

Who said they refused to answer 40 questions. ? You can be sure that the police there would have brought them in for further questions if they really wanted to. They did not bother. As simple as that.
