I mean, if it went seven games, the last game would be in mid-July, so that would cause a lot less off-season hockey withdrawal pains.

We already have to WAIT and WAIT for Game One...

  1. i'm not a summer nhl'er person.

  2. Sorry Bill. I think that would drive more people crazy the ease hockey withdrawal.

  3. No that would make Red Wings/Penguins fans insane....woohoo now I wouldn't have to see all those bandwagon fans on this site!!!

  4. I'm scared about my life w/o hockey, so yes... one game a week for the finals sounds good.

  5. Yeah, I think so. I had to wean myself off of smoking so I can definitely say that it works for addictions. (Even though some addiction doctors may disagree with me.)

  6. IT WOULD MAKE ME INSANE

  7. No way, it'd just drive me crazy. College football season always has me in fits because I have to wait an entire week to watch the next Michigan game. I couldn't handle it if hockey finals did the same thing. The withdrawal that comes after a team wins the cup is worth it.

  8. Thats the way it is in Football, I am sure I could adjust. But I think it would be stupid. I as a fan need time away just like the players. It makes the season that much more interesting when you have to wait for it.

  9. I think it would drive me INSANE. i hate to wait a day for a game, let alone a week!
