If the Temp out in the desert is 77 degrees F with no wind and very low humidity what temp would it feel like?

  1. i would have to say 77.....except that is not very hot for a desert i would think.....that is only slighly over room temp


  2. Based upon how the heat index works, I would say it would feel like 77, maybe a bit higher.

  3. If the sun was hitting you, it would feel like 90 I think, despite the dry air cooling you off.

  4. In the desert, the humidity is very low. 77 degrees is not that hot so the "feels like" temp would be 77 degrees. Maybe a couple degrees cooler. The "feels like" temp in the desert is always a couple degrees lower than the actual temp because of the very dry air. Even if the humidity was sky high, it would raise the temp that much, since the temp is only 77 degrees.  100 degrees in the desert actually feels cooler than 90 degrees in florida
