Why isn't our military bombing the Taliban's opium fields?

  1. it's not necessary. our prison system is 300% over capacity, highest felony rate in the world, and yet we're boasting about our freedom.

    Picture a large field of wheat. Now picture a big crater in the middle of it. Loss in wheat production? Maybe 10%

    Crop dusters (which the military doesn't own but we can hire) are the answer. We used them in Mexico and Columbia to great effect. In Afghanistan we have been succeeding using different programs, but there is still a ways to go. 100% success will require true and lasting peace and more dead jihadists.
