If the U.S., Israel and whoever else, goes to war with Iran, do you think there will be a draft in the U.S? I ask for your opinion on this matter because, it SURE as h**l looks like we will go to war with Iran. Everything is spiraling out of control. The M.E. is a time bomb waiting to explode.

Your thoughts?

  1. No. Plus, if  U.S. does attack Iran, it will only last probably a day. And if Israel does attack Iran, the U.S. will support Israel. Just do some research on U.S. military and see what kind of weapons Iran will be against and you will see what I am talking about. Iran does not have a chance.

  2. you bet ye.

  3. There will not be a draft as long as the depressed economy forces people to sign up for the benefits (usually educational). A draft will only be brought in if things get bad. A modern army requires individuals of some educational attainment which is sadly lacking in your average Joe.

As for a war with Iran, it is a big "if" and I don't think it will happen.

  4. Yeah,I dont know much about all of that but I know we are getting "low on troops"and if we continue this there will defiantly be a draft.

  5. It will not be a war like Afghanistan or Iraq.   The desired end result is that Iran will not have the capability to produce nuclear weapons.   So a simple air strike AKA Israel against Iraq or Israel against Syria would be done.  Just a quick strike of the nuclear assets and that will be the end of it.

However,  if Iran wishes to do something after that event,  we can always use the Clinton technique and bomb them to h**l from the air.  They have practically no Air Force to speak of and their missile defenses can be defeated with the F22.   (Or the F117 which were carefully stored in air conditioned hangers back in Nevada.)

  6. Don’t pay attention to democrats who claim that there would be a draft if we go to war with Iran. Our forces operate better under a free market system where only the people who want to join, join.

The only reason we would have a draft is that a world war breaks out, but today this is almost an impossibility. WWIII would almost certainly be nuclear in nature and not fought on smaller scale like the war over in the Middle east.
