If the UK hadnt have broken off America when the land masses split, what state would we be join to....???

The Thames would flow into the Rhine and be draining the great lakes , Buckingham Palace would be in New York state and we could all paddle down the Mississippi ( did i spell it correctly ) Buffalo would be chasing northerns whilst on their bicycles looking for work in Florida and Red Indians would be selling blankets to the welsh in exchange for mutton and lamb , a railway line would run to Berlin direct and you could take the bus San Francisco to Paris and change at Milton Keynes OR Watford on Saturday Sunday and evenings weekdays , the rockies would be reaching the ozone layer and pierce a hole in it and we could all fly off the planet when we lifted our umbrellas because of the high precipitation in death valley , silliness over go jogging in pink .

As far as I know it was Scotland that was held to the north American shelf not the whole of the UK, the parts of Scotland that did bump into the rest of us are holding some of the oldest rocks in the world geologically as indeed does North Wales.

Considering it was the British and other Europeans that colonised America and established modern society there I think would be more accurate to say the USA would be a country or crown dependancy of the UK... or maybe France or Spain.
