If the UN is leading the way, for the Western World in?

The UN should get rid of all modern appliances in all their corporate headquarters, that pollute. Every UN person should arrive by bicycle when going to summits, and not drive or be flown in private jets that cause untold pollution. They should fly coach like everyone else. The electrical power going into their corporate buildings should be turned off. Solar energy should replace the standard AC power, to light their new mercury filled light bulbs.

Can you people think of why the beautiful people should be allowed to pollute our planet when they are against third world development ?

Crazy- you forgot the part about how the airport couldn't support all the private jets so they had to fly to neighboring islands to wait for the circus to get finished before flying back to get their passengers.

and while you are at it you could get world leaders to walk and bike instead of flying. the un is made up of member states and its them who chose how there representatives act.

What the heck are you talking about? The UN does a great job of minimizing CO2. That si why they had their big summit meeting in Bali. All the climatologist live there and so no air travel was needed.

Oh wait, sorry, wrong country. I looked in Wiki and was corrected, "It is also the largest tourist destination in the country and is renowned for its highly developed arts, including dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music." Nope, no mention of a vast wealth of climate researchers there. But I here they make a kick *** strawberry daiquiris. Well, at least they all traveled on commercial flights to reduce their carbon footprints.
