  1. Most Probably They Will Help The Pakistani Army & Fight The Taliban In Afghanistan

  2. Basically

  3. Recovering from their Republican drunken orgy.  Bush has just about ended the usedful life of our military through his incompetence and greed and stupidity.

Now's the time to fix up the wounded and get the weapons working again and put Li'l Bush into federal prison for war crimes.  Cheney and Rice in adjoining cells.

  4. The same thing we did between the end of Operation Desert Storm and the beginning of Operation Enduring Freedom: maintenance, peacekeeping, and train for the next conflict.  We had some conflicts during that time period to deal with (Bosnia, Somalia, etc) and we had several peacekeeping deployments as well.  Contrary to popular belief like the media likes to spread, military deployments didn't start in March 2003 and won't end when we pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The only major change that might happen is a reduction of military forces if we pull out.  We cut the military down after Desert Storm was over.

  5. well thats the whole point there buddy, but they'll prolly be in georgia

  6. They would go to Afghanistan and square that country away in a heartbeat.

AF is not the Middle East.  It's Central Asia.

But if you meant both, then training, training and more training.

  7. They will hit the wall when it comes to promotions! Most will be driven out of the service because no one wants a large peace time military regardless what branch they currently serve in they will find it difficult to remain in service. They may find their benefits severly curtailed! When their unemployment benefits expire they will not be able to find jobs and the downward spiral will accelerate!

  8. Training for the next war.  Continuing to serve in Korea, Okinawa, The Siana, Europe and all the other places we continue to go to as well.  Maybe take a well deserved breather after continuous rotations to the Middle East.

  9. They would come home and continue training and living their lives. Besides, US would be saving literally billions of dollars with this ******* war, which would come in hand due the crisis we're facing today here.

  10. I was in the Army airborne infantry from 1988 to 2004 and I never just sat around or 'something' just because we weren't in the Middle East.

We train and perform daily military duties just like every other MOS in the military (like CQ and PMCS vehicles and equipment), spend time with family and friends, go to military schools and civilian schools.

  11. I take it you don't realize that the Marines and Army are dployed all over the world protecting our freedoms. Even if not involved in combat their are numerous other missions that are being accomplished.

Our Great Military just don't sit around and this is an insult to those who have served Past,Present and Future

  12. The same thing 25,000 are doing in Korea, training and waiting.

This buildup won't be in Germany, since Russia lost that area, but there'll be one somewhere.  The EU can't be expected to defend itself even as a deterrent, that would cost money.

Meanwhile, the Mexican Army crosses our border frequently enough for nobody to care.

  13. Afghanistan

  14. They would come home and get their lives back to-gether.
