  1. it will go down the tubes and only a few of us will have the highways to ourselfs.

  2. We will have to walk everywhere or find some other means of transportation. I have been doing research on this topic and have found some solutions. I happen to have done some research on the topic and found where this guy Oliver South convereted his BMW to water gas fuel. He has a video that shows step by step how anyone can do this. There is also a review website that I found in my research that covered  a few other companies that are doing the same thing. You might want  to check the review site at http://waterfuelconversion.googlepages.c...

  3. The governmnet would ration gas if it got to $50 a gallon. During World War II the government rationed gas. Very few people could actually afford to buy gas at $50 a gallon.  Instead of driving cars we all would ride buses, trains, ride bicycles and horses. Hopefully before gas gets to $50 a gallon (and it will because we will eventually run out of oil) we will have converted to hydrogen, solar, peanut oil, ethonol, sugar cane, wind power, methane, natural gas, coal, nuclear power, etc.

  4. one would hope that long before that happens, people will wake up and develop mass transit.  we have the technology today to reduce american oil consumption radically.

mass transit, not just a good idea, it's imparitive.

  5. total detruction of life as we know it

  6. well, people aren't going to/can't give up driving their cars.. so i'm sure there'll be a lot more cars on the side of the road.. haha.

  7. we'll walk :)

Actually, there will be a rush for more and better alternative energy transportation, like electric vehicles, or even more motorcycle type, lighter vehicles

  8. motorcycles
