If the United Kingdom joins the europian union?

I've been reading up recently and wanted to check whether these statements were true.

If the united kingdom joins the europian union will:

Courts will be trialed by judge rather than jury

We will lose the prosumption of innocence

lose the right of habias corpus

Are the three past statements true or false ?

Wow. You're joking right? I hope you're joking...

I'm from America and I know for a fact you are part of the European Union, and a big player in fact. You are not part of the EUROZONE, if that is what you are really asking. Countries may opt out of certain treaties labeled under 'The European Union.'

The UK is bound by the Maastricht Treaty. European Union members remain independent and sovereign. The UK almost voted on ratifying a constitution for the EU a few years ago, but it failed before reaching the UK. The constitution was supposed to be an updated single document to replace the jumble of treaties that currently make up the EU.

Westminster will never ever take away basic universal human rights.  The UK has to comply with the European Convention on Human Rights, however. That is the only treaty that allows the EU to interfere with your laws and only if the EU rules that one of your laws is a human rights violation. But that certainly is not a bad thing.

I hope such gross misunderstandings were not why the French and Dutch voted down the constitution. Whatever you are getting your information from, stop using them immediately! Get better news sources (BBC, Reuters, The Economist). Yahoo News is a good place to start.

They won't joined till Euro surpass Pounds, which is possible but might take a lot time, why would UK joined? if they gonna lose currency, only reason why nation wanted to change their currency so they would money worth more.  Plus UK is well know to had strong banking system, they could the money well before joined the EU.

America tell us we are inocent untill proven guilty but trust me we dont run our court rooms like that.... its more like how much power you or your parents have is what prove your innocents or not....in about 20 yrs the world will have one religion... catholic.... and 5 kings who all function as one king....and the coming of jesus will arrive and over through the system as the world knows it....My frined read the bible for you self... you will see what i am talking about
