We are doing a model United Nations on June 7 and i am representing the country of Belarus. Our third resolution is to decide whether our country would be for or against the expansion of the Security Council. The proposal is to add 5 more permanet countries to the 5 that are already there and to add 5 more non-permanet to the current 10 countries.

  1. probaly for because then belarus would have a chance of getting on the security council as on of the non-permenant members

  2. The current Belarus leader is not so predictable. He would have sided with Putin, and said 'no' because it would erode the power of 'mother Russia'... But times have changed and he does not speak to Vlad anymore...

  3. of course they would be all for it. they are the most closely allied FSU (Former Soviet Uniion) country, to Russia. Russia and the Chinese want to expand the power of all of the smaller, communist and socialist states, to lessen the power of the Western Nation in world politics.
