I mean his an ideal player for the warriors system.

Do you think he will do better than azibuke.

Also what do you think about the Turiaf and Marcus Williams additions?

  1. Evans would have to play off the bench...no choice.

He wouldnt be bad off the bench tho...

He is much better than the williams aquisation

if camby went for a 2nd rounder I think we shoulda got williams for a 2nd rounder as well

1st rounder for a back up back up PG, not very smart....

    Turiaf...not bad pretty decent

  2. he fits their system well but don't expect more than 10 ppg and 2 three pointers made from him. he's known as a role player. i think azubuike is better than him because he's more explosive and a better scorer. i like the marcus williams trade a lot, some people might think a 1st rounder is too much to give up, but marcus williams never got the minutes in new jersey. this guy is a great passer, he's a tricky lefty who can also shoot the three consistently. i think he has a brilliant chance to shine in the bay area.

  3. Evans is a GREAT rebounder. He'll have to work on his speed to play many minutes for the Warriors.

  4. Personally, I think Azubuike had more upside than Evans.  This whole off-season has me scratching my head.  It seems like Mullin is just scrambling to fill a depleted roster.  Evans is a decent bench player, but nothing to get excited about.  He will probably be the 8 or 9 guy in the rotation.  I guess for a couple mil a year it's not too bad, but mostly a yawner.

I like Turiaf, but I think we overpaid a little bit.  That seems to be the consensus.  He had some big games against the Ws and I think Mullin judged his worth based on that.  The problem is most teams aren't as undersized as the Ws.  Overall I like Turiaf.

I haven't really seen Williams play much, but I think he has some potential.  I wonder why NJ preferred Dooling over him, and why they gave up so early on him.  We needed another PG, so I guess it was a decent move.  At least the 1 rd pick is lottery protected.

I think we had a great draft by getting Randolph, but the rest of this off-season has me pretty perplexed.
