If the absolute humidity of the air on a summer's day is 16.8 g/cm3, and the air could hold 19.5 g/cm3, what is the relative humidity of the air?

  1. RH = (absolute humidity/saturation value) x 100

    where saturation value is  moisture holding capacity

    so RH = (16.8/19.5)*100 = 86.15 %

    So the relative humidity is 86.15 %
