I meant depleted......if the battery is depleted

  1. long as you have mother phone plug in,it should work.


  2. Yes.  Each cordless handset is independent of all other cordless handsets.  If any handset dies, the others will still work.  It should'nt matter which handset is cradled into the base....as long as the base-station is working ok.
