    Adding more devices in a series circuit increases the equivalant resistance of the circuit

    Since V = I*R and V is constant, if R increases, current 'I' MUST decrease to keep V constant


  2. Adding more devices in a series only increases the voltage requirement. But, in a series circuit, the current always stay constant, as opposed to parallel circuits, where the voltage is constant, but current varies.
