  1. It is made out of bullet proof lead. If you made the entire plane out of it it would never get off the ground.

Even if it did get off the ground, if it then ploughed into the earth from 30,000 ft, you would still have the slight problem of what happens inside the plane when it comes to such an abrupt stop.

  2. Pretty obvious, it's too heavy. Also the black boxes aren't always found, and certainly aren't always intact.

  3. Bit of trivia- the black box is actually orange.  It is called black after the man who invented it.

  4. That's Seinfeld's bit.

  5. This question is a 35-year old Jasper Carrott joke,  Ho hum...

  6. Because if you made the whole plane out of the same stuff, the planes would be too heavy to get off the ground.

  7. That's a very good question. I can only presume it is too heavy a material to use.

  8. It's not a good question tickle. Read a book man.

  9. It NEARLY always survives intact. As objects get larges the indestructability falls.

Try breaking a 3/4 inch thick piece of wood that is 4inch long in your hands.-- almost impossible. Then try breaking a piece the same thickness that is 4 foot long-- this will be easy

  10. Cars are made of metal, toy cars are made of metal.

Drop both of them from 20 feet and see the difference.

Its not about the material they use but about the size and relative thickness of it.

  11. It would be too heavy. Think about it!

  12. because it would be too heavy!

  13. Search Wikipedia for a full description of the fligh recorder.

It`s actual size as you will see from photos in there is about the size of an old VCR recorder.

  14. bored by this question.

This is old material and you have ripped it off.

Hope you get some funny answers though..

  15. Maybe no one ever considered making the plane out of that material.Or it's not possible.

  16. It would be too heavy to fly.
