Question:

If the bottle says Children's Sudafed, cold relief, etc., does that mean it doesn't work if an adult takes it?

the bottle usually says 12 to adult instructions so I didn't think that it wasn't possible, I was just wondering.

  1. I think it means the strength of the medication is weaker than the adult version. It's the same stuff, just at about half the strength. To get the same strength as the adult version, just take a double dose. I think that's right, but check the labels to be sure. It should state what percentage the active ingredients are in each version. Just compare and see what the difference is. The other stuff in it is just to cover the taste and thin it down. But I believe a double dose of children's medicine is the same as one of the adult medication, and will work just as well.

  2. Yea, the strength is weaker, just take one extra pill if you are taking it.
