  1. the military represents the USA ,  the Military can not burn flags, not here or there and can not burn books, but in America,citizens can shoot, burn, rip, throw away the Koran all we want, wipe our *** with the flag while lighting up a cig with a burning page of the Koran

  2. It's not part of his mission or rules of engagement to inflame religious feelings in a foreign country, very possibly giving us additional enemies to fight (since folks over there shift their allegiances about every other month.).

  3. Great question- the answer would lie in the fact that the military has less rights on theses type of matters then civilians. I believe that when we are at war with a religion, which it seems we are, anything that represents that religion should be fair game. But that's just an opinion.

  4. Because we might "offend" a culture group.Or worse we might "PROVOKE" the terrorists(as if we haven't already,invading 2 countries)!
