If the center of the earth is really hot, does this contribute to global warming?

Can we take steps by cooling the center now to make the world better later on?

  1. Global warming refers to the change in climate over time. The heat emission from the earth's interior doesn't change much with time (except locally, where volcanos and such come and go.) And there is no way to directly access the depths of the earth, much less control the heat emission therefrom!


  2. The Earth's hot core isn't the couse of Global warming, and we can't do anything to cool the core.

  3. The earth's core is still hot from the early days of the solar system, and has been slowly cooling ever since.  It is very unlikely that it is contributing to global warming.  In any case, any attempt to cool the earth's core would inevitably heat the surface more, because the only place for us to put the heat is to radiate it out into space, which would require passing it through the atmosphere.
