My company paid me for work at one of their sites, by useing my annual accreud leave entitlments. I think this is unfair and a form of misappropriation and even embezlment. Should I report them to the tax office for an audit. Or perhaps a goverment body. What would you do.

  1. How did this wrong you?  Did you lose anything?

  2. I would report it, that certainly does NOT sound legal.

  3. Sounds like you aren't getting paid... I would report this.

  4. Firstly what they did is totally illegal.

Ring the A.T.O.s (australian tax office) help line & make enquiries about what they did & if u get the right answer (illegal)

report it but make sure u have your payslips for the fortnight b4 &

the fortnight after so u prove your complaint.

    Best of luck,greggie.

  5. Have you checked with the pay office as this could have been a mistake (mix up of names or time sheets etc.).  Your annual leave should only be taken when you are on leave, so this is illegal. Who you report this to depends where you work and which industry or whether you are covered by an award.
