If the cop put a wrong license plate number, can I get out of a cell-phone ticket in nj?

I got a a ticket in Newark, NJ got talking on a cell phone, my license plate is EBF-1935, the cop put EBH-1935, can i get out of this ticket?

Don't listen to guy above. You can Plead not guilty and when u goto hearing judge has to throw it out if anything wrong at all on police report your so lucky!

My fathers a Newark police officer and he said since it's a moving violation, it wont matter if the number is incorrect, theres no way to fight it. It goes to the person who signed the ticket. If it was a parking ticket with the wrong license plate number, then you could easily get away with it.
