  1. No I think it would be very similar to what happened with the Red Sox. If they win all will be forgotten.

  3. To much attention is paid to winners and losers.  If they win, it will be a long awaited win, just like the Red Sox.  If they go another 10 years after the win, they still won.

    The only people that will want to label them losers are petty (and I mean petty) White Sox, Brewers, Cardinal fans.  

    Petty fans, put up your hands, you can tell who they are by the people that will answer this will comments like "they will always be losers"


  4. No, they won't be. Then the lovable loser status will go somewhere else and so will the yuppie crowd and the Cubs will be a mediocre draw again.

  5. They won't win the WS so we won't have to worry about that. And even if they did and h**l froze over, the cub fans will always be considered losers.
