  1. No, you can still wear contacts if you choose to, but the prescription for glasses and contacts are not the same. You would have to tell your doctor to prescribe you a prescription for contacts.


  2. A prescription for contacts would also have the brand and base curve and diameter of the contact lenses that you can get written right on it.

    That's what makes it a different prescription. Sometimes the power has to be changed a little also.

    Which means, you have to get a contact fitting done first at the Dr's. to get contacts.
