  1. I guess we would have to build arks or drown, since the oceans would cover the land.

  2. Although it is a slightly elliptical spheroid, it isn't that far from being a perfect regular sphere.

  3. currently the force of gravity is maximum at the poles and minimum at the equarter, so if the earth was a perfect sphere gravity would become a constant at any point on earth.

  4. You mean if the crust was a perfect sphere? Because then you'd have some really screwed up stuff like the oceans migrating around the planet to follow the moon.

  5. Gravity would be uniform everywhere, and the polar regions would get a little bit more of sunlight.

  6. None.  Unless you meant that the mountains were distributed to overall flatness and not just that the slightly oblate form was changed to a perfect sphere.

The earth's variance with a true sphere is negligible for all practical purposes, with tiny mountainous eruptions.  If you wanted to you could level the mountains and drop them into the oceans.  The whole earth would then be covered with water.  The average sea level would go up slightly, enough to measure but insignificant when compared to the radius or diameter of the whole earth.
