  1. I would suggest no, if you can get a new package get it. Better safe than having food poisoning.

  3. An expiration date only tells you what the company GUARANTEES the freshness. Of course the butter could stay fresh much longer than the expiration date.

    When you buy a chair and it has a one year guarantee, it can work for ten more years! And it's the same thing with expiration days... haha not years.
