If the expiration date on butter was 5 days ago, but it smells and looks fine, should I use it?

  3. An expiration date only tells you what the company GUARANTEES the freshness. Of course the butter could stay fresh much longer than the expiration date.

    When you buy a chair and it has a one year guarantee, it can work for ten more years! And it's the same thing with expiration days... haha not years.
