If the founder of the Weather Channel sues Al Gore, how will that affect the global warming cult?

The Weather Channel has lost its way, according to John Coleman, who founded the channel in 1982.

"Since we can’t get a debate, I thought perhaps if we had a legal challenge and went into a court of law, where it was our scientists and their scientists, and all the legal proceedings with the discovery and all their documents from both sides and scientific testimony from both sides, we could finally get a good solid debate on the issue," Coleman said. "I’m confident that the advocates of ‘no significant effect from carbon dioxide’ would win the case."

First of all, Coleman won't sue Gore.  In fact, he didn't even threaten to.

No lawyer is going to take a loser of a case like suing a carbon credit company for no good reason, regardless of whether Al Gore owns it.

Secondly, if he did sue, he would lose.  In fact, the case would probably be thrown out immediately.  The only effect is that we'd all have another good laugh at the ignorant fool's expense.

Thirdly, there is debate all the time.  It's called scientific research.  If Coleman thinks anthropogenic global warming is wrong, all he has to do is perform a scientific study and prove it.  Of course, being a failed TV weatherman, Coleman simply has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to climate science.

What exactly would the complaint in his suit be?  Coleman is such a pathetic loser.  He couldn't even break even when he set up the Weather Channel, he had to sell it to people who knew what they were doing.
