If the govt shuts people out of the govt meetings?

what type of behavior is that when i thought we are to have open meetings why are the people not being heard and people have made a decision with closed mindedness and telling the people how its going to be and then getting violent upon its people

  1. I assume your talking about the meeting in New Orleans.  Buildings can only hold a certain number of people.  To force more people inside would violate federal fire codes.


  2. Even allowing for "standing room only" would have violated the fire code concerning maximum occupancy of that room. And there is new evidence that many of those outside wanting to protest arrived at the hearing site in cars with out-of-state plates. From as far away as Ohio, Kentucky and Massachusetts. Hardly what I would call local constituents with a grievance requiring redress.

  3. Certain meetings are allowed to be held "close door" to discuss certain topics. Besides, nothing would ever be accomplished if every uneducated whelp were allowed to voice thier opinion on topics they know nothing about. I think we should issue a test that people have to pass in order to vote. Maybe another test people have to pass before they can open their @%^^& mouths.

  4. They could have had a stand-up meeting. Why wasn't this allowed?
