A Judge is bound by law to declare a mis-trial if evidence of jury tampering comes to his/her attention.

I would expect the judge to declare a mistrial unless enough alternate jurors are available that have not been affected by the tampering. I would also expect if the case could be proved that the responsible parties would be arrested and charged.
