  1. its illegal for anyone under 21 to consume alcohol, PERIOD

  2. Yes, completely illegally.

  3. IF THEYR UNDER 21.. THEN YES.

  4. h**l YEAH DUDE

  5. In New York state, the age to drink is 18

  6. Yes, they do it illegally. But at the age of 18, they're legally responsible for their actions, so they have the right to risk the consequences if they so desire.

  7. Yes, it is all illegal and if the cops are called they will bust everyone. Some colleges are cracking down on fraternities throwing keggers. But colleges tend to look the other way a lot and don't really enforce it. I mean really, why would they have to specially have "Dry" or "Sober" dorms where there is no drinking or drugs? No one is supposed to be doing it, it's ILLEGAL if you're not 21.

  8. Yes.  The punishment for just drinking alcohol under 21 is nothing compared with the punishment for someone who is over 21 who serves them alcohol.  And that punishment is minor compared to a bartender who knowingly serves someone under 21.

That said, if no one drives a car or hurts someone, there are few cops who will do anything to a parent who responsibly educates their children about alcohol.  Even if that includes serving them a drink now and then.

  9. It's illegal to drink anything alcoholic if you are under 21.  Yes, they are drinking illegally.
