  1. If you mean 100 feet in depth, no.  The entire ecosystem would be in drastic shock and the migratory patterns would shift.  (Not to mention that most of the Chicago/Milwaukee metro areas would be experiencing massive deaths due to dehydration)

    If you mean that the water recedes 100 ft (creating 100 ft of new shoreline), I would also guess no.  I don't think that ducks would chill out in an area without much cover, but hats a guess.
