If the mainstream media is so "liberal", then why don't I own a TV?

I am a FAR-LEFT liberal...

I am Pagan, I am college educated, I am an anti-war pacifist, non-interventionist and sometimes I'm even a vegetarian!

I support PETA, GreenPeace, POW-MIA and Amnesty International... I hug trees, play in the dirt, listen to folk music and think fondly of Jeremiah Wright and Black Liberation Theology...

I never watch the mainstream media... Most of my friends don't watch television either... we call it the "lie box"...

So why do I hear so much about this mythical "Liberal MSM" when it's obviously just a bunch of corporate advertising which is the opposite of liberal?

MSN does seem to be the most liberal mouthpiece out there today which is ironic since they are owned by GE. But, like all good liberals, they stick with the facts and don't resort to lies, name calling and deception. I wonder if this liberal tendency to play fair and not fling dirt should be abandoned for the street-fight tactics of the republicans. After all, the decorum of liberals hasn't won them an election in the last eight years and there is a lot riding on this one.

I'm not sure how you can ask this question if you don't own a tv, because you can't really comment one way or the other if you haven't personally witnessed the bias or non-bias. You and your friends are in the minority for not owning a tv. I don't think you can make this generalization based on you and your group of friends. Anyway, my answer to your question is that you don't own a tv because you don't want to hear all the c**p!
