If there exists a universe for every separate variation, why is it that I don't see weird phenomena happening (floating patterns etc.). The probability of us landing in a such consistent universe is unbelievably low. Winning the the jackpot of every lottery since its inception is more likely.

  1. I don't understand what weird phenomena you are expecting to see?  All the universes are subject to the cosmological principle--same laws of physics apply.

epid--I've never heard of what you are talking about--that there's a physical consequence of many worlds.  Very interesting.  Link or ref?

  2. Your point is well taken.  You have probably answered your own question.  The many-worlds interpretation shares many things in common with the playing with one's brain activity.

  3. It is highly unlikely that the many worlds interpretation has any validity of any kind, outside some mathematical quirks about interpretation of perturbation theory. Indeed, in non perturbative approaches to solving the equations of quantum mechanics, many worlds interpretations cannot occur. It seems odd if reality depends on how you do the sums.
