  1. The tides may b bigger, but the reason for moon goin far from earth is the friction that is occuring between earth & moon bcoz of tides....!!!

  2. Yes

  3. The tides were bigger.

The "months" were shorter (the original meaning of month is the period from new moon to new moon) as the Moon, being closer, would complete its orbit faster.

Earth-days (e.g., sunrise to sunrise) were shorter.  One effect of the tides is to slow down Earth's rotation by 1 second every

    40,000 years (or so).

Full Moons were (ever so slightly) brighter.

The Moon appeared a big bigger.  Total eclipses of the Sun would last a bit longer and there would be a few more total eclipses. For example annular eclipses would have been impossible if you go back far enough (an annular eclipse is when the Moon appears smaller than the Sun -- it fails to cover it completely, leaving a ring around itself).

  4. the bigger tides are because of fast rotation of earth and not due to moon.the moon was attracted to earth due to gravitation.but if the moon moves away the tides may have less intensity to rise up.
