  1. Maybe they have a condom catheter that isn't as invasive as a straight cath.  Im a nurse and would love that job,  for most of the drivers LOL LMAO

  2. Not reading drive Brain:

    Abort, Retry, Fail, Ignore?

  3. Most of the time that will never come up due to the extreme heat in the car.  That alone means if anything they will be dehydrated up the yazoo and there will be no pee to dispose of.  Drivers can lose anywhere from 10 to 30 pounds in one race alone as well due to that.

There is no catheter either in there and the few occasions it has happened the driver will just let loose in the car and suit.  It will look like sweat anyway even if it does go through.

A few years ago Tony Stewart actually took a dump in his suit due to have stomach problems etc after something he probably ate earlier in the day.

  4. They do not use a catheter.  Did you not know that in their seat is a well that they pee in (they have a special hose attached to their uniform that is drained from a bag inside their suit that they pee in.)  The urine is expelled out the hose, sort of like exhaust.  That is why sometimes you see waterish vapor coming out of the car.

    I hope this helps.

  5. No they don't, you can figure it out on your own from there..

  6. OMG, someone who asked this question managed to spell "catheter" correctly...

thank you for finally asking this question - i've been dying to know and just didn't know how to ask...

or how to search to see if it's been asked a million times before.

  7. Well since they aren't in a geriatric ward, I guess common sense would put them in a position to either urinate before the race or after the race.

  8. I agree w/ Iggy's answer, but had to put in my $0.02....

Personally, I can make it a lot longer than 3 or 4 hours w/ out having to pee, especially if I've been outside & sweating a lot.  That being said, can you picture the winner in Victory Lane, hanging out in his car, waiting for someone to remove his catheter so he can jump out & celebrate?

  9. Once again, I love seeing THE SAME QUESTION posted over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

  10. To answer your question and #18 also.......but never knew how to ask before, I really like that, that is truly cute, for real, not trying to be smart back at you okay.

they do not have pee bottles or hoses in their suits,  nor do they have on pampers to keep them dry..

I will tell you, a lot of drivers do use Depends, no really now.

if they pee, it stays in the depends and does not soak them, or their suits.  this is for real.....several years ago, Rusty Wallace in #2, Millers car, told that a lot of drivers use Depends for this very reason......

they cannot wear Catheter's, as they are not approved by Nascar, if a bad wreck, it could cause serious injury to the drivers private parts.

and yes, it is true, Tony Stewart did p**p his drawers years ago, due to a stomach virus he had.

and Kyle Petty also has done the same thing, due to a stomach virus.

so for all you inquiring minds, Depends is the #1 choice of drivers, but not all drivers use them.
