  1. Actually.. .it's only in AmeriKa where the people don't know about electric vehicles... Europeans have had electric commercial vehicles for years... Their electric motors turn a massive FLY WHEEL which provides the actual power.

AmeriKans think they are so superior and they don't know what the rest of the world has been doing for years.

  2. I am no scientist but if you check out phoenixmotorcars.com is starting to make electric trucks.  If they work they should get normal or better gas mileage.  Since the electric batteries are larger, bigger vehicles tend to be the best for the electric experiment.  I would love to see the big three start to drop a couple of big batteries in a Tahoe, that would be an idea.

  3. there are torque graphs at the website below.

For a standard Tesla as in production:

It has a 185 kilowatt engine , thats 248 peak horsepower

It can go 220 miles without recharging.  It takes 3.5 hours to charge

    Curb weight 2690 pounds.

    Power use= 52,857 watts/hr = 53 kW/hr

    At 15 cents /kWhr

    That's $7.93per hour x 3.5hr = $27.76 per 220 miles

    27.76/220 = 13 cents per mile

  4. flywheels are not power sources, electricity is a source, a flywheel is a battery.

  5. You could get a million if you use solar. Yes americants are a little slow, I should know I live with them and hear their pouty excuses daily.

Gettin' a little tired of it...
